Selling Luxury Travel Certification
Based on the Luxury Travel Lifestyle Specialist Course,
offered by The Travel Institute, this course is an in-depth study of the course
content. Class lectures, quizzes and reviews help you prepare for the test.
Relevant topics from the previously held one-day seminar called “Selling to
the Affluent Market” (Aug 14th 2010) makes this class a well-rounded and in-depth
study of this market. Classroom discussions offer real-life examples of the
varying needs of the affluent traveler and how to sell to the Luxury market.
You will explore their expectations of a Travel Consultant, how best to reach
this very loyal segment of the travel market and what it takes to make them
your evangelists. In this program we will:
- Discuss the potential of and the need to target the luxury market
- Identify the various segments of the affluent market
- Identify characteristics and buying motives of the affluent
customer
- Verbalize the value of a luxury product effectively
- Discuss the characteristics that a luxury traveler seeks in
a Travel Professional
- Do a complete review of the Course material in preparation for
test
- Take the 2 hour proctored paper test
Note: Upon passing the Exam you will earn the Lifestyle
Specialist Certificate from The Travel Institute.

Time – 10am – 5pm - please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to
the start time.
Fee: Prior to July 23rd 2010 - $100 plus $ 15 materials fee (includes
the LS Book) and a $39 check (only) payable to “The Travel Institute” for Testing
fee
o Between July 23rd –Aug 20th $110 plus $ 25 materials fee (includes the
LS Book) and a $39 check (only) payable to “The Travel Institute” for Testing
fee
o After Aug 20th - $125 plus $25 material fee (includes the LS Book) and
a $39 check (only) payable to “The Travel Institute” for Testing fee
Coffee, assorted Teas and water will be provided.

Under “Unit Price” enter the appropriate amount you need to pay (see
above - Fee under Logistics)
Terms & Conditions:
• All cancellations must be received in writing by due date either by e-mail
or snail mail
• We are glad to credit you 50% of the Class Fee when you cancel 2 weeks prior
(Aug 14th) to date of class (Aug 28th 2010). You may apply this credit towards
a future class. No refund/credit is due if canceled after Aug 14th 2010.
• No refund is due on the Materials Fee at any time.
• Name changes are permitted for a $25 administrative fee with a minimum 48
hours prior notice.
• Note: If Comprehensive Training Solutions is forced to cancel the class due
to unforeseen circumstances, 100% refund will be paid within 2 weeks of announced
cancelation. No other compensation will be due. CTS shall not, in any case,
be liable for other compensatory damages, and you hereby waive any right to
punitive damages.
